This week’s Pure Nintendo Podcast is all about celebrating Mario for MAR10 Day! Jemma and Trev are diving into their favorite Mario games and discussing what they hope to see next in the series, especially from a 3D angle.

Previously, we chatted about Pokémon Presents and the newest Xenoblade Chronicles X trailer. But now, we’re shifting our focus to the legendary Mario series. We’re covering everything from Super Mario 64 to Super Mario Odyssey, and all the adventures in between.

This week is also exciting because Nintendo Switch Online is releasing two classics: Donkey Kong and Mario’s Picross for the Game Boy. If you have a Switch Online membership, these games are a blast from the past you can enjoy right now.

We’re also buzzing about the latest Nintendo Music, some interesting amiibo updates, news on the Video Game Hall of Fame, as well as an update from WayForward on Sigma Star Saga for the Game Boy Advance.

In terms of what we’re playing, it’s been a week of variety with titles like the first-person shooter Turbo Overkill, the remastered Suikoden I & II, and the intriguing point-and-click mystery Urban Myth Dissolution Center.
