Following a relaxing period in the Unova region, Pokemon Go enthusiasts can start looking forward to an exciting event right as summer kicks off.
The much-anticipated Pokemon Go Fest is set for June, with live gatherings planned in Osaka, Japan from May 29 to June 1, in Jersey City, New Jersey from June 6 to 8, and in Paris, France from June 13 to 15. Following these, a global event will take place on June 28 and 29. Tickets for the live events are already on sale. If you’re aiming to participate in the worldwide event, a US$15 ticket is available, which grants access to special gameplay experiences, including a chance to encounter the mythical Pokemon Volcanion. Meanwhile, everyone will have the opportunity to catch the “crowned” versions of Zacian and Zamazenta, the legendary mascots from Sword and Shield.
If you snag the global event ticket by April 15 and log into the game between April 8 and 15, you’ll unlock a special research story. This storyline offers an encounter with Skiddo, a rare Pokemon that’s only been accessible at “City Safari” events. These events have been exclusive to select cities since late 2023.
