PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium users are in for some exciting news this year, thanks to an enticing addition to the Game Catalog. Four upcoming titles will be added to the collection, including the intriguing FBC: Firebreak from Remedy Entertainment. This multiplayer first-person shooter has now announced an anticipated release window in the summer of 2025.
FBC: Firebreak is taking players back to The Oldest House, the iconic headquarters of the Federal Bureau of Control from the hit game Control. Unlike its predecessor, which was rich in narrative and lore, this new installment focuses heavily on gameplay. Remedy Entertainment is keen on developing a live-service experience, but with a twist—they’re steering clear of the typical “fear of missing out” elements. Instead, all content will be freely accessible and designed for players to enjoy at their own pace.
In the latest trailer, fans get a glimpse of the Paper Chase Job, a mission where the Firebreak Initiative must tackle a peculiar section of The Oldest House overrun by rogue sticky notes. Plus, players got a sneak peek at the diverse loadouts they’ll be using to fend off the Hiss threat.
Set to release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Epic Games Store and Steam, FBC: Firebreak promises a fresh and engaging experience for gamers.
But that’s just the beginning. Three other games will make their debut via the Game Catalog at launch: Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, Blue Prince, and Abiotic Factor. PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members can already dive into the first part of Lost Records, with its second half scheduled for release next month.
On top of all these additions, PS Plus members can now access the PS Store’s Spring Sale early, scoring excellent discounts on blockbuster games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
