Hey Legends, buckle up! This season, we’re putting the power in the hands of the community. We’ve also got big updates for Legends and some bold tweaks to the overall game meta. It’s shaping up to be quite the extravaganza. And what’s better to add to the excitement than our Anniversary Event, where you’ll find even more community-driven content and the premiere of the Mythic R-301? Mark your calendars: Apex Legends: Takeover starts February 11.
Creator Commissioners
Our Creator Commissioners will be taking turns every two weeks, each bringing a unique set of challenges, along with fan-favorite game modes and some cool new rewards. During the first week, team up with other players to tackle Community challenges, paving the way for a bounty of Apex Packs in the following week.
Then, step it up in the second week and earn those rewards for real. Tackle five special challenges to score a Legendary weapon skin handpicked by the creators themselves, plus those sweet Apex Packs from week one. But don’t forget: just participating in the first week won’t get you freebies in the second, so make sure you’re jumping into the action again.
Meet Your Creator Commissioners and Their Legendary Picks:
- February 25 – March 10, 2025: Ninjayla – Wingman’s Death Ray
- March 11 – 24, 2025: Oraxe – Kraber’s The Pioneer
- April 1-14, 2025: Apryze – Mastiff’s Bone Breaker
- April 15 – 28, 2025: Kaminari Kyupi – Mastiff’s Tombstick
Arsenals
We’re introducing Arsenals to Battle Royale this season. These new stations give you easy and reliable access to weapons and ammo you prefer. You’ll find them stationed across all Points of Interest on every map, although ammo types may vary randomly each match.
Each Arsenal offers relevant ammo and an option to enhance one weapon matching the Arsenal’s ammo type. This enhancement not only upgrades attachments but adds optics if your weapon lacks one. Once bins reset, Arsenals do too, letting you re-upgrade and even boosting the ammo count.
Meta Changes
The game’s getting a significant shake-up with fresh meta updates you need to dive into right away. Weapon classes across the board, particularly those competing with Assault Rifles, are getting fine-tuned. Time-to-kill is lower now, a consequence of both weapon adjustments and tweaks to Armor, Helmets, and headshot multipliers. Legends aren’t left out either. The Assault class receives some neat new perks, with Ash and Ballistic getting extra love. Not to mention, we’ve made modifications to regen items to keep you in the fight longer despite these lethal changes.
Legend Spotlight Passes
Get a step ahead with the new Legend Spotlight Pass. Take on challenges to hone your skills with a potential new Legend, working your way through twenty levels toward the ultimate prize: a Legendary skin pack. Available for purchase in the in-game store once per season per Legend, this pass also unlocks the Legend if you haven’t snagged them yet.
It’s all kicking off on February 11, 2025.
