While the top ranks of this week’s Xbox gameplay chart remain unchanged, there’s been a notable surge of interest in Far Cry New Dawn’s achievements, thanks to its recent re-addition to Game Pass. With several major titles gearing up to launch on Game Pass soon, we can anticipate some fresh entries breaking into the top 40.
Sniper Elite: Resistance continues to climb, securing the seventh spot after its Game Pass debut. If you’re undecided about diving in, Sean’s review heaps plenty of praise on the game. Meanwhile, Halo Infinite, buoyed by its latest update, has impressively jumped from 23rd to 17th place.
Far Cry New Dawn has made its way back into the top 40, capturing the 19th position following its Game Pass return last week. On the other hand, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has slid a bit, falling from 18th to 22nd. Despite being a fantastic game, the influx of new Game Pass releases is making it tricky to juggle all the big AAA games simultaneously.
Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, which previously surged up the charts thanks to a surprise Xbox release, has now slipped down to 24th from 11th. Similarly, Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap, another Game Pass addition, finds itself at 31st after a bit of a drop.
Other notable comebacks this week include Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II at 33rd and No Man’s Sky at 36th, both of which have seen significant updates likely drawing players back in. Meanwhile, Eternal Strands, a recent day-one Game Pass title, has descended from 19th to 38th, and Hell Let Loose rounds out the chart at 40th.
Interestingly, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II hasn’t cracked the top 40 yet despite being a much-awaited sequel. Perhaps its absence from Game Pass and the time-intensive nature of the RPG are factors.
