A Valheim enthusiast has captured attention with their stunning black marble pyramid base set in the Meadows biome. This remarkable creation cleverly utilizes an array of available resources, showcasing the endless possibilities Valheim offers for creative base building.
When Valheim debuted in early access, it quickly caught fire, setting staggering player counts in February 2021. Though those initial numbers have dipped, Iron Gate Studio’s consistent updates keep the game fresh and compelling, enticing players back for more exciting adventures. Since its launch, Valheim has inspired countless awe-inspiring constructions ranging from a replica of The Mandalorian’s Razor Crest to a WoW-themed Plains base and even scenes from The Lord of the Rings. The latest marvel, though, is this ominous black marble pyramid in the Meadows biome.
Recently, a Valheim player, Neluril, shared seven images on Reddit showcasing their magnificent pyramid base. The first couple of pictures focus on the exterior, highlighting the structure’s sheer size and the wide Stone Stairs leading up to a grand Hexagonal Gate. In another image, you can see the top of the pyramid from the inside, with smoke from various crafting stations rising gracefully through an Iron Cage Floor. This is indeed a sight to behold.
The crafting level of the pyramid features a comprehensive setup with an Artisan Table, Cooking Station, Fermenter, Galdr Table, Stone Oven, and a Tool Shelf, all interconnected by stairs leading to a basement area. On the storage level, the room mimics a high-tech server archive, brought to life by Wisplights and glowing particles that illuminate the rows of chests like futuristic machinery.
Titled “This Valheim Black Marble Pyramid Base Has All the Essentials,” the post reveals that two of five armor stands are showcased in the penultimate image, which also includes a portal connecting to the top floor. This upper tier accommodates a cozy living space complete with a bed near a warm fire, a Yule Tree adorned in the foreground, and a Ward statue presiding over the room. Neluril explains that the base’s basement houses Storage, Portals, and an Eitr refinery. The ground floor is home to the main entrance and includes areas for cooking, crafting, and a cleverly concealed portal, while the top floor focuses on comfort with its living quarters. The entire setup is designed to be compatible with Valheim’s Survival mode, managing to stand firm while using less than 200 Iron thanks to a strategic placement of Wood Iron Beams.
Despite Neluril’s detailed description of the intricate architecture involved in creating the black marble pyramid, they have yet to produce a video walkthrough or make their world accessible for others to witness firsthand. As Iron Gate Studio continues to enrich the Valheim experience with new updates, there’s potential for this already impressive base to evolve even further.
